I want the word troll to die. It is horrendously misused, even among people who should know better.

There needs to be a better set of words covering the nice spectrum between hateful/unhinged argumentative people, garden variety dumbasses, and people who know better causing trouble for fun. All three types get in and start arguments, but there are subtle differences. Then of course, there are people with a light goofy touch that’s almost like a take on the Socratic method.
